360-surveys

A 360 survey is a multi-source feedback instrument used to assess an individual’s performance and competencies. It gathers confidential input from the participant’s manager, peers, direct reports and sometimes external stakeholders; it also includes a self-assessment component. Responses are aggregated to identify strengths, development needs and blind spots. Organizations use the results to inform leadership development plans, coaching initiatives and succession planning.

TBS IDEAL 360-DEGREE SURVEY

Our TBS 360° Leadership Assessment is based on nine core leadership competencies: Communication, Conflict Resolution, Professionalism, Integrity, Flexibility, Influence, Team Orientation, Interpersonal Skills, and Emotional Intelligence.

The process is simple. Participants complete an assessment evaluating their own leadership capabilities. Their managers and peers then answer the same questions about them. The feedback is collected, analyzed, and organized by rater group.

Results are evaluated in two ways. First, high and low scores help identify key strengths and development opportunities. Second, attention is given to areas where there are significant differences between a participant’s self-ratings and the ratings provided by others. These gaps can reveal hidden strengths and blind spots—highlighting differences between how leaders perceive their own performance and how they are perceived by the people they work with.
